Total War: WARHAMMER II is a grand strategy game where players choose from four unique races to wage war across a vast fantasy world. Combining turn-based strategy simulation with real-time tactical battles, it offers hundreds of hours of deeply replayable gameplay.
Core Gameplay
- Empire Building: Govern cities, forge alliances, explore unknown lands, and gradually build your empire. Capture, manage, and upgrade towns, recruit armies, level up legendary lords and heroes, and equip them with powerful weapons and armor.
- Epic Real-Time Battles: Command legions of mighty warriors, deploy ferocious monsters and fire-breathing dragons, and wield devastating magic. Set strategies, lay ambushes, or crush enemies with brute force to turn the tide of battle.
- The Vortex Campaign: Choose from eight legendary lords across four races to perform mysterious rituals—either to stabilize the Great Vortex or to harness its chaos. Each lord starts in a unique location with distinct war machines, storylines, armies, monsters, magic lores, and abilities.
Races & Legendary Lords
Prince Tyrion, defender of Ulthuan, leads the High Elves; Slann Mage-Priest Mazdamundi commands the Lizardmen; Witch King Malekith rules the Dark Elves; and Queek Headtaker of the Skaven lurks in the shadows. All four races vie to control the Vortex and shape the world's fate.
